| During the early and the mid 80s LE MANS were an active part of the hard rock scene in San Francisco. The five piece band was founded by guitarist Derek Frigo and released two exceptional albums. Their first album was titled ‘On The Streets’ and came out in 1983. The self-titled second album ‘LeMans’ originally came out in 1986 on Columbia Records and marked a musical change for LEMANS away from Heavy Metal to the classic AOR & Melodic Rock sound. Through the years, ‘LeMans’ became one of the most sought after records. Prices for the CD raised up to more than USD 100,00 $ on the usual platforms. Thanks to YESTERROCK this gem is now available again for a reasonable price and with digitally re-mastered sound quality. | |
