| MSG was originally known as the Michael Schenker Group. This hard-rock band was formed by the influential ex-Scorpions and UFO guitarist Michael Schenker in the very early '80s. When Irish vocalist Robin McAuley joined in 1987, the group name was changed to its present form. The group released several albums before disbanding. Their debut album Perfect Timing was originally released in 1987, and yielded their first hit "Gimme Your Love". Two years later, Save Yourself arrived, giving this incarnation of MSG their biggest hit with the power ballad "Anytime". M.S.G. followed in 1992, and Unplugged - Live came out in 1993. This is the 2000 remastered Japanese release that includes bonus tracks. | |
