| Pain and Passion are a tight four-piece heavy rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. They caused quite a stir in the rock world back in May, 2000 when they released a three-track demo in their native Gothenburg. After a shuffle in the line-up the band recorded some more demos and began work on an album. The final result is the debut album "Don't Think Tomorrow", an album that has been perfected to reveal a slick, smooth heavy rock album, that smacks of bands such as Black Sabbath, Whitesnake with tinges of Fates Warning. The ten tracks on offer are all great songs that will have you hooked, and all the fans of traditional heavy rock will whoop with delight at this powerful and energetic music. The band have only been around for a little while and yet they sound so mature, as if they have been playing together for years. Pain and Passion are definitely a band to keep in mind. | |
