| German guitar god Axel Rudi Pell has been stunning audiences with his prowess for over 25 years. This special double-DVD contains 3 and a half hours of prime Axel and features rare performance footage culled from both older and more recent performances. 'Live Over Europe' is a double DVD featuring numerous live recordings of German guitar legend AXEL RUDI PELL. The first disc presents a professionally filmed gig from the Rock Hard Festival in 2007, and the second has a compilation of various live bootleg footage taken at shows all over the continent. Despite being billed as AXEL RUDI PELL, this is really a band unit and certainly not a one man show. The Rock Hard show is a really enjoyable watch and AXEL and the band are on scintillating form. Disc 2 is packed with live material, but the video quality is generally poor as it was not recorded professionally. Live Over Europe is a great package and fans of AXEL RUDI PELL will not be disappointed. It offers something different to Pell's previous DVD release 'Knights Treasures', capturing the band in festival mode. | |
