| Bombastic orchestrations, high speed metal and a loads of brilliant melodies – these are the elements in the sound of Ordan. The idols of the five piece from Soest seem to be Blind Guardian, early Running Wild as well as Savatage. Thomen Stauch contributed all the drum parts for ‘Nothing Remains’ – this track has the strongest Blind Guardian vibes in the arrangements beside ‘Nobody Remains’. Ex-Running Wild guitar player Majk Moti contributed some six string licks. So – logical – this song might also put off from Running Wild’s “Under Jolly Roger”. Even without contributions of the Savatage players this is a very strong record! | |
