AFTERMATH were founded by vocalist Joey Dia and keyboards player Andy Kadin in New Jersey, USA in Spring 1995 after they already had been playing together in various other bands, Open Fire being one such band. Vocalist Joey Dia is a guy heavily influenced by bands like Poison, Skid Raw and Kiss, and keyboards player Kadin, has a more jazzy & classical composer background. Dia and Kadin started to search for new band members to join Aftermath; they already knew drummer Marc Chandler, who was working in a music store next to their rehearsal room. Marc, basically coming more from heavy roots, finally completed the new line-up together with an old friend of Joey’s, extraordinary guitarist Bill DiNapoli, who basically likes the same style as Dia. The band immediately started to rehearse after the line-up was completed and performed their first live club performance only two months later. After a lot of hard work the new album is finally set for release! England’s finest Pete Coleman, a man who certainly knows how to mix an album, crafted the final touches. Natural Destruction is an album that combines elements of hard rock bands like Skid Raw and Kiss and combines them with the finesse and majesty of Savatage. So you have powerful guitar chords that demolish your speakers, but with a good helping of keyboards….and great harmonies.
