The Red Rock Roosters are a Denver, Colorado-based blues/rock band. The core members are bassist Curtis "Bear" Rawlins, drummer Eric "Buzz" Wallace, guitarist Mike Ryan, and guitarist James "J.D." Hash. Bobby Barth (AXE, BLACKFOOT, ROSE TATTOO) joined the band on guitar and also produced their debut recording on NEH Records. The Roosters collectively have recorded and toured with some of the best known names in the business including: the OUTLAWS, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, CANNED HEAT, STEPPENWOLF, JOURNEY, B.B. KING, and JOE WALSH. They quickly won-over Colorado audiences with their bluesy, southern rock style and have opened up a new continent to their sound - recently signing a record deal with Germany's KDB to distribute "Altitude Is Everything" in Europe. The depth of their experience is evident and their substantial musical prowess makes an easy transition from sizzling live performances to the studio. A rock-solid rhythm laid down by Rawlins and Wallace is nicely complemented by seamless multi-part vocal harmonies and tasty guitar fills that seem to effortlessly turn into scorching solos. Now joining the band on guitar is Illinois native Mike Ryan who has played with numerous groups including The Marshall Tucker Band. The Red Rock Roosters now find themselves in high demand and have already started writing songs for a second album
