Asia was comprised of former members from some highly popular and significant progressive rock bands of the 1970s, including Yes (Steve Howe), King Crimson (John Wetton), and ELF. The resulting powerhouse swept the globe with a virtuoso, highly successful delivery of pop riffs tinged with prog rock influences. The band sold 15 million copies of their debut album and produced a number of 80s anthems that topped the charts, including "Heat of the Moment." Eventually the band went through a number of member changes that left only one original member (keyboardist Geoff Downes, previously of The Buggles). This release features the only known concert footage taken when the original vocalist John Wetton was with the band, and this is paired with footage of later frontman John Payne leading the band in concert. Rare, previously unreleased material of the band's Moscow and Asia shows, as well as a live 2002 USA performance, is also included.
