“World Gone Crazy” is the first Doobie Brothers studio album since “Sibling Rivalry” came out 10 years ago. The album reunites the band with legendary producer Ted Templeman (Van Halen, Carly Simon & Eric Clapton among many others) who worked with them on their classic albums and hit singles including “Listen To The Music” in the early seventies and the chemistry between band and producer is clearly still there. On “World Gone Crazy” the Doobie Brothers’ renowned laid back California rock, with its blend of electric and acoustic instruments and superb vocal harmonies, is sounding as fresh as ever.
