| Mitch Malloy ladies and gents, is back with a new studio album but this time under the name of Fluid Sol. The whole album is like a complete musical insight of all his albums spanning everything from edgy rock’n’roll to AOR, singer/songwriter rock to powerpop - but it’s not shattered in styles....that’s the fine thing about this album, it truly sound like the real follow up to his first solo album coz it contains a more rocking sound similar to the one from 92 than the mellower "Ceilings And Walls" and the AOR album "Shine" that didn’t reach all the way. Mitch has written his best ballad so far with "Down" on Fluid Sol, that vocal performance is a real knockout but if you want to rock - do it with "No Fear","King Of Nothing" or "Empty".....this is the Mitch I want to hear where he lets the guitar speak and the calm won’t come closing in until the smoke clears. | |
