| Hearsay is a melodic rock band from Denver, Colorado. This, their second release continues their diversity of songwriting and harmony. This CD takes listeners on a journey from the epic opening track, "Clouds Of Doubt", through the odd-time signature funk rock of the title track, to the acoustic shuffle of "Breathe", the balls-to-the-wall heavy single-coil guitar and harmony of "Last Picture", the delicate, sullen ballad "Regrets", right through to the gutsy move of covering the Disco-classic "Funkytown", hard rock style. Hearsay received airplay of several of these tunes on Colorado rock stations up and down the Front Range. Hearsay- never being a band to skimp on vocal harmony, crystal clear production lends itself to letting the listener hear every nuance of the song, making you wonder why this band never recieved higher praise, and a more widespread audience. | |
