| HEARTBREAK RADIO is a band project which was founded in the year 2004 by production team Torbjörn Wassenius/ Claes Andreasson who in the past have been known for their work with Last Atumun's Dream and the solo work of singer Mikael Erlandsson. Mikael Erlandsson could be convinced to take over the vocal duties on three songs whereas the other 8 tracks feature ex-Prisoner shouter Pierre Weinsberg on the mic. The band is completed by Mikkey Dee (Motörhead) on drums and Magnus Rosén (Hammerfall) on bass guitar, as well as various guitarists including Sayit, T'Bell and Tommy Denander (RADIOACTIVE). Other guests on this album include Max Abbey (Ultravox, Paul Young) Joel Starander (Geisha) and Jim Jidhed. Claes Andreasson says about HEARTBREAK RADIO: "We have for some years now talked about putting a band together, with a sound similar to our heroes, Airplay, Journey and Whitesnake. Then we got hold of leadsinger Pierre Wensberg, he sounds like Steve Perry. Finally we got it together!" "Heartbreak Radio" was produced by Torbjörn Wassenius/Claes Andreasson (Last Autumn's Dream) at Sunday Music Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden between September and December 2004.
