| JAGUAR's claim to fame as the possible originators of the 80's thrash metal sound has long been debated. Truth be told, with the release of their single 'Axe Crazy' they did indeed push the envelope further than any other European band of the time. The West Country NWOBHM act were - and still continue to be - very highly regarded, not least of all in Holland, where they were treated like royalty. Recorded in Holland in 1982, this live recording is rough n' ready and always exciting. Very little exists of the band at the peak of their powers, and that makes this find all the more important. With previously unseen live shots and sleeve notes from guitarist Garry Pepperd, this is one for the NWOBHM fans - a genuine must have! | |
