| The side project of Stratovarius lead singer Timo Kotipelto is entitled Kotipelto and has released their third album, entitled Serenity, on Candlelight Records. Coined by the international rock community as the "Man with the Golden voice" Timo was responsible for making Stratovarius into a powerhouse worldwide and this side project is really starting to pick up steam and critical acclaim as well. The style of music would have to be labeled either epic or symphonic metal, and is under the general heading of power metal. It features fast paced melodic songs with solid keyboards, soaring guitars, leading drums and Timo's wonderful voice. | |
