Formed by leader Todd Hobin in 1974, the band was based in Syracuse, where Hobin had graduated from the Crane School of Music two years earlier. Several albums followed, including "Todd Hobin Band" (1978), 1980’s ‘Passion And The Pain’, the classic "Keepin’ The Dream Alive" album from 1982 and the final EP "Turn It On" (1985). He still performs with the original Todd Hobin Band and as solo artist, but stopped recording since 1985 when ‘Turn It On" hit the stores.
