Jack Green (born 1951, Glasgow, Scotland) played with Marc Bolan & T. Rex between 1973 and 1974, then with The Pretty Things between 1974 and 1976 and Richie Blackmore’s Rainbow. Later, Jack Green went solo with the smash album “Humanesque” (1980) and he achieved Double Platinum Status in Canada. Imagine if Tom Petty had headed more into a “New Wave” direction…that’s the sound of this album. Tight musicianship, crisp production and hook-laden pop-rock abounds here, and begs the question: why didn’t Jack Green ever hit it big ? BTW – Richie Blackmore delivers a solo at the track “I Call No Answer”. Digitally remastered re-issue incl. new booklet.
